FundingUniverse records that the 1984 offering traded as an over-the-counter stock, and that by the close of 1991 the same issuer was trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
Britannica records the 1977 restructure from Charter Med and the 1984 public offering after the company was running 11 HMOs in ten states.
The American Prospect, drawing on period reporting, records first-year public revenue of 13 million dollars in 1984 currency.
The mechanism of 17 October 1984 is an OTC listing of a Minnesota HMO manager, not the later NYSE tape called UNH.
