The November 1995 issuer was Henry Schein, Inc., a dental and medical supply house founded in 1932.
On 3 November 1995 the underwriters priced 6,165,000 common shares at 16.00 dollars each in 1995 currency.
The company sold 5,090,000 of those shares.
Selling shareholders sold 1,075,000.
The underwriters took a 924,750-share overallotment.
The letters HSIC opened on the Nasdaq National Market on 3 November 1995.
Net proceeds to the company were earmarked to retire debt.
The reported range for the rest of that fourth quarter was 20.375 dollars to 29.50 dollars.
The mechanism is a cash IPO of a mail-order supply book, not a spin-off.
Nasdaq MarketSite at 4 Times Square is the public facade for that tape.
