People treat Molson Coors as a Golden and Montreal brewing house that always printed TAP after a finished New York book.
The February 2005 survivor was Adolph Coors Company, already listed here.
A 2005 Form 10-K records that Class B non-voting common had traded on this exchange under RKY since 11 March 1999, and before that on Nasdaq under ACCOB.
On 9 February 2005 the merger with Molson Inc. closed. The same filing states that the Class B book then opened under TAP.
Molson and Coors shareholders had approved the combination in late January 2005. Quebec Superior Court approved it on 2 February 2005.
The mechanism is a merger of equals that retired the RKY letters and printed a new brewing book under TAP on the same New York tape.
The pin is the public Broad Street facade of the 1903 New York Stock Exchange building, the street marker for the tape that stopped RKY and opened TAP.
Interior trading is not visitable from the sidewalk.
