NFT Week with Team MetaBlox - 2022

The MetaBlox Team Makes Memories in Miami

On a warm and humid day in April 2022, the founders of Metablox.co Jun Loayza and Yu-kai Chou along with friends, family, and a few of us from the community descended on the MiamiNFT Week conference to promote and share their project with the broader NFT community. 

From our temporary AirBnB headquarters we spent the evenings planning for the next days activities while also following up with relationships kindled during the day. 

Although the forecast called for hot rain - with temperatures in the mid 80's - not a drop of liquid sunshine fell from the sky. 

Most of our time was spent cultivating relationships, but we were still able to listen in on a few of the speakers from the main stage. These panelists are among the most knowledgeable NFT experts in the world, making a fantastic learning opportunity as well. 

Miami is full of amazing art, and we made a trip Wynwood Walls which is an incredible indoor / outdoor art exhibit a couple blocks from the event center. The exhibits feature artists from around the world in a variety of media. If you ever in Miami - this MetaBlox Landmark is a must see. 

After a tour of the art installation we headed over to Dr Smood for a little rest and food before heading to South Beach for some marketing activities that involved several members of the team paddle boarding and riding a wave runners in pants 😆.

We wrapped up the evening at the restaurant Havana 1957 where we savored the flavors of Cuba! Cubano sandwiches were consumed en masse along with regional treats like fried plaintains and banana chips.
