The November 2015 issuer was Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company, separated from Hewlett-Packard Company.
Stockholders of record on 21 October 2015 received one HPE share for each HPQ share.
The distribution closed on 1 November 2015.
The letters HPE opened regular-way on the New York Stock Exchange on 2 November 2015.
The first print was 14.99 dollars.
The session closed at 14.49 dollars in 2015 currency.
HP Inc. kept the letters HPQ on the same tape.
The mechanism is a tax-free spin-off, not a cash IPO.
The pin is the Broad Street facade of the Exchange on that opening.
