Uncontrollably Fond | Jangsado Sea Park — The Island Where They Found Each Other Again

She does not find him in a city hallway. She finds him on an island shaped like a silkworm, after a photograph left in a room she was not supposed to search.

Jangsado Sea Park sits at 55 Jangsado-gil in Hansan-myeon, Tongyeong, a thin island inside Hallyeohaesang National Park. The ferry from Geunpo or Donam takes you to a shore planted with camellia and silver magnolia. Official location lists name this park for episode 6 of Uncontrollably Fond, the reunion of Shin Joon-young and Noh Eul after she tracked him from a single still.

The park is not a studio mock-up. It is a working garden with a camellia tunnel, a maze, a herb slope, a rainbow bridge, and Seungni Observatory looking south over the Namhae. In winter the camellias open against a hard blue sea. In summer hydrangea covers the same paths. You pay an admission and you walk the 1.9 kilometers of the island the way the cameras did, between evergreen and water.

Stand on the glass walk and look at the same horizon she crossed to reach him. The photograph in the room was only a prompt. The island is what is left.
