Someday or One Day | Longquan Ice Shop — Grandma Mo’s Table in Madou

Inside Madou Central Market a century-old ice shop still serves the same simple bowls. In Someday or One Day it becomes Grandma Mo's place, the ordinary table where the characters gather, talk, and eat shaved ice with miancha and extra condensed milk.

Longquan Ice Shop has operated for generations. The interior keeps its market-stall character: metal pots, wooden counters, the everyday rhythm of a neighbourhood shop where the toppings are still made in-house. Fans come for the scene and stay for the taste that has not been redesigned for visitors.

Check current opening hours before travelling. The market building itself has been slated for closure, so the shop's setting may change even if the shop does not.

Sitting at one of the tables is enough. The drama borrowed a working place and left it working. The ice continues to be shaved, the toppings continue to be ladled, and the story rests lightly on top of an ordinary Tainan afternoon.
