Someday or One Day | 32 Record Store (Xiaobanlou) — The Alley Where Time Crossed

In a narrow lane off Minquan Road, in Tainan's Yintong neighbourhood, stands a blue-toned building that once held the heart of the story. In Someday or One Day the 32 Record Store is where Chen Yun-ru works, where the cassette of Last Dance first plays, and where the three friends of the Fengnan squad repeatedly return.

The real place is Xiaobanlou, a roughly seventy-year-old former Western pharmacy that a local ceramic artist restored into a pottery and tea space under Tainan's historic-building revival scheme. The exterior with its wooden windows and quiet facade remains the most photographed pilgrimage spot for fans. Even if the interior arrangement has changed over the years, the alley itself still carries the 1990s atmosphere the drama captured.

Visitors stand at the lane entrance and look toward the doorway. The ordinary street continues around it, yet the building holds the weight of every scene that began with a tape and a shared song. Residents live on either side, so keep voices low and cars out of the lane.
