In Episode 9, Shiori tells Hinako that their history began earlier than Hinako knew: they had met before, and Shiori had given her blood. The confession lands not on a spectacular shore but in 灘町ポケットパーク, a small opening in the town where paving, benches, and nearby buildings keep the conversation exposed to daily life.

That choice makes the revelation harder to escape. Shiori’s promise has always sounded like a contract for the future; here it acquires a past. Hinako must reconsider whether the monster beside her arrived by chance, and whether the life she thought belonged only to grief has already been entangled with someone else’s decision.
