私を喰べたい、ひとでなし | ふたみシーサイド公園 — A Day the Sea Does Not Take Her

At ふたみシーサイド公園 in Episodes 6 and 7, the sea briefly changes its role. It has summoned monsters, carried Shiori into Hinako’s life, and mirrored the death Hinako keeps close. Here it also becomes the edge of a shared excursion: open water, a broad beach, and time spent beside someone without an immediate demand.

The park is famous for sunsets, but the scene works because of the ordinary structures around that view—the roadside station, steps, railings, and places to sit. Hinako and Shiori are not sealed inside a perfect landscape. They are moving through a public place where other lives continue, and the horizon stays wide enough for the relationship to remain unresolved.

Face west late in the day and watch the colour drain slowly from the water. For once, the sea does nothing to Hinako. It simply remains beside her while the minutes pass.
