The wedding is not in a palace. It is in a hotel atrium that still opens onto Jamsil.
Lotte Hotel World stands at 240 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, a thirty-two-storey tower finished in 1988 and wired into the same block as the theme park. Japanese location guides name the lobby and the grand stair as the rooms Kwon Sang-woo and Choi Ji-woo walk for the ceremony scenes. The four-storey atrium is the thing the hotel still advertises: light falling a long way down marble.
You do not need a room key to see the volume. The public lobby takes the street, then the stair. The park is on the other side of a corridor. Seokchon Lake is outside the glass.
Stand on the stair and the atrium does what the series asked of it. It makes an ordinary hotel look like a decision. The carpet is newer. The drop is the same.
