Crash Landing on You|Sigriswil Panorama Bridge — The Photograph That Held the Gorge

The deck is punched metal. Through the holes you see the Gummischlucht two hundred metres down, then you look up and Lake Thun is a flat plate under the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The Panoramabrücke Sigriswil runs 344 metres from Sigriswil to Aeschlen. Crossing it costs eight francs. The wind on the cables is the first sound you notice.

Episode 4 puts Ri Jeong-hyeok and Seo Dan on this span with a camera. A stranger is standing too close to the rail. He asks her to take their picture. The stranger is Yoon Se-ri. The photograph is the reason she is still on the bridge when the scene ends. The opening theme of the series is named for the village.

Walk from the Sigriswil abutment. The deck flexes. The mountains stay. The drama needed a public place high enough that a private decision would have nowhere to hide. The gorge is still that deep. The ticket booth is at the trailhead. The view does not care who is holding the camera.
