Crash Landing on You|Grindelwald First — The Slope That Finished the Flight

The last gondola dumps you onto a ridge at 2,167 metres. Grass, a gravel path, the Firstbahn swinging behind you, and the north faces of Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn and Eiger stacked across the valley. On a clear day paragliders peel off the take-off just below the station. On a closed-in day you only hear the cable.

Episode 16 brings Yoon Se-ri back to this slope. She has been looking for Ri Jeong-hyeok across a border that does not have a visitor entrance. She lands here. He is already on the grass. The reunion is shot next to the First Flyer entrance, under the same weather that Grindelwald sells as a view.

Walk out of the top station and take the path toward the cliff walk. The drama needed altitude and an open hillside so two people could see each other before they spoke. First still does that work. The gondola timetable is posted at the Dorfstrasse base. The mountain does not wait for a clear afternoon.
