Vincenzo|Sewoon Shopping Center — The Arcade He Came Home to Rob

Sewoon Sangga runs as a concrete slab between Jongno and Toegyero, finished in 1968 to a plan by Kim Swoo-geun. Electronics stalls still fill the floors. The city rebuilt the pedestrian decks after Cheonggyecheon came back. 159 Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu. The shops keep weekday hours.

Vincenzo turns this block into Geumga Plaza. Vincenzo Cassano arrives to pull gold out of a basement and instead inherits a building full of tenants Babel wants gone. The production dressed the public corridors and the roof. The sign on the street still says Sewoon. Fans walk the same elevated span that links the two malls over the stream.

Do not look for a gold vault. Walk the deck at lunch and listen to the stalls. The series needed a place that looked like it had already survived one demolition. This one has.
