Ted Lasso | Richmond Green — Belief Begins as a Daily Walk

Ted and Coach Beard cross Richmond Green as if the route from home to football were the simplest thing in the world. The grass, cricket square, benches, and neighbors make those recurring walks more than transitions between scenes: they show Ted slowly learning the rhythm of a place that first treats him as an outsider. Children keep playing. Dogs pull at leads. Richmond carries on around his optimism until that optimism begins to feel local rather than imported. The real Green is a council-managed public space, accessible at all times, and the official VisitRichmond Ted Lasso route runs directly alongside it. Use the paths, give active cricket matches room, and resist turning ordinary residents into part of the set. Stand near the south side before the shops open, when the field is still quiet. What the series found here was not a grand London landmark but a daily route that could become home.
