クライマックスで、かぐやの復活ライブは東京ドームと仮想空間ツクヨミを同時につなぐ。客席の光とネットの向こうの声が一つの歌へ重なり、失われたと思われた存在を現実へ引き戻す。巨大な会場は単なる成功の記号ではない。離れたままでも同じ瞬間を信じた人々の数を、屋根の大きさで見せる場所になる。
水道橋駅から外へ出ると、白い膜屋根がビルのあいだから持ち上がり、入口前の広場に人の声が反響する。イベント開催中は立ち止まらず、係員の案内と施設ルールを優先する。公演のない日に正面へ立てば静かなガラス扉しかない。それでも見上げた屋根の内側に、現実とツクヨミから返ってきた同じ歌声の厚みを測れる。
