超かぐや姫！ | 立川サンサンロード — 流れ星が日常を裂く夜

彩葉がサンサンロードで空を見上げる。モノレールの高架、映画館の壁、仕事や学校へ急ぐ人の流れ。その見慣れた立川の夜を一本の流れ星が横切り、かぐやとの物語が始まる。作品はこの道へ何度も戻り、友人との下校も、かぐやの尾行も、特別ではない放課後の時間として重ねていく。
現地では立川北駅から北へ歩き、Cinema Twoとモノレールが同じ視界に入る地点に立つと、背景の骨格がぴたりと揃う。広い歩道だからこそ、立ち止まるなら人の流れから外れ、住民や通行者を写し込まない。夕方、コンクリートに長い影が伸びた瞬間、この物語が宇宙ではなく、まず一人の高校生の帰り道から始まったことがわかる。
