かぐやが配信者として駆け上がると、彩葉との暮らしはワンルームから立川駅前のタワーへ移る。画面の中では数字でしかなかった人気が、急に高い窓と広い部屋を持つ。プラウドタワー立川の外観はその変化を一目で伝え、二人の生活が広くなるほど、同じ場所にいることの重さも増していく。
立川駅北口のデッキへ出れば、商業フロアの上に住居棟がまっすぐ立ち上がる。ここは現役の住宅なので、見るべきものは公開空間からの外観だけだ。入口へ近づかず、住民を撮らず、駅前の歩行を妨げない。夕方にガラスの列が一枚ずつ光を返すと、成功とは遠くへ行くことではなく、二人で帰る場所の輪郭まで変えてしまうものだったと見えてくる。
