Esports | Call of Duty: Mobile | Wolves — The 4-2 World Final at Georgia World Congress Center

Inside the Georgia World Congress Center on Sunday, December 17, 2023, Wolves and GodLike Gaming reached the last series of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship, with a DreamHack Atlanta crowd surrounding a stage built for a phone-based shooter rather than the console-and-PC Call of Duty League.

Activision’s publisher-run championship was operated at the festival by the Snapdragon Pro Series and ESL, and its sixteen-team Finals moved from a Swiss stage into a single-elimination playoff whose best-of-seven Grand Final required four game wins.

The competition used the global Call of Duty: Mobile app during Season 11: Siren Song, released on December 6, with version 1.0.42 present in both the Android and iOS release window; surviving public records do not identify a separate tournament build, server configuration, operating system, or handset for each player.

Five players competed at a time, while Wolves registered Su Ruihao “Anzai,” Xu Ruijie “Fengnian” or “NIAN,” Mo Yan “Island,” Lin Chengyi “King,” Wang Jiahui “Pegg,” and Yang Kaihao “XQing”; recognizing Fengnian and NIAN as the same player avoids turning the roster into an invented seventh seat.

GodLike won the opening Hardpoint game, where points accumulate while a team controls a moving objective, Wolves answered in Search and Destroy, and GodLike moved ahead again through Control before Wolves won the last three games to take the series 4–2.

The fifth game ended 7–1 in the round-based Search and Destroy mode, and the closing Control game finished 3–2, giving Wolves the championship and $400,000 from the event’s $1 million Finals prize pool after the team had swept both Tribe Gaming and Qing Jiu Club 3–0 in the playoff rounds.

The building fixes this result to a public place rather than to an organizer office or an advertised city: DreamHack and contemporary event reporting place the December 15–17 Finals at the Georgia World Congress Center, 285 Andrew Young International Boulevard NW, and the convention complex remains beside Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta.

The cover shows the exact convention-center exterior six years before the match and is evidence of the place, not an image of the final itself.
