After Motorola, the next dated job is not a stadium. It is an office park on the Thames.

MarketScreener records Dale as vice-president of retail sales and marketing at Microsoft from 10 March 2009.

Speaker biographies and later club profiles name the same role as Corporate Vice President of Microsoft's worldwide retail channel.

He held it until 2017.

The UK headquarters sat then at Thames Valley Park, Reading, postcode RG6 1WG.

Microsoft's own site still directs visitors off the A329(M) to Building 2 reception on that campus.

The park occupies the old Earley Power Station site beside the river. Oracle and other tech firms share the same loop road.

A Co-op store opened inside the headquarters in 2016 to serve several thousand staff. That is the scale of the place he reported from while Xbox and Surface moved through other people's shops.
