Crash Landing on You | Lindenhof — The Hill That Opens the Credits

Lindenhof is a gravel terrace above the Limmat, a few lime trees, a few benches, and the two towers of the Grossmünster sitting across the river as if they had been placed for a still.

Crash Landing on You opens on this view. Se-ri and Jeong-hyeok cross in the credits with the church behind them. Promotional photographs used the same backdrop. Korea.net reporters walked the hill years later and watched strangers ask to recreate the frame. The green iron chairs are still there if you look for them.

The terrace is free and public. It was a Roman fort and a medieval square before it was a title sequence. Trams run below on Bahnhofstrasse. The river is the colour of cold stone. Climb the steps from the old town, turn once toward the twin towers, and the shot the series wanted is the same shot the city has sold on postcards for a century.

Stay for the bells rather than the pose. The drama needed a Swiss city that could be recognised in three seconds. Zurich had already put the church on the hill for that purpose.
