People treat the Fox chair as a title that waited until June 2017.
The company moved the date up.
On 16 June 2016, 21st Century Fox announced that Jim Gianopulos would leave as chairman and CEO of Twentieth Century Fox Film when his contract ended on 30 June 2017, and that Snider, then co-chairman, would succeed him.
Deadline printed the studio release the same day.
On 24 August 2016 the parent company said Gianopulos would step down early and that Snider would take the chair on 1 September 2016.
That is the date this pin uses.
The lot is at 10201 West Pico Boulevard in Century City, opened in 1928 as Movietone City and long the headquarters of 20th Century Fox.
The Pico Gate is the public entrance a visitor can photograph from the sidewalk.
Snider had joined Fox from DreamWorks in 2014 as co-chairman.
As chairman and CEO she oversaw the film studio through the years that included Logan, The Greatest Showman, and Bohemian Rhapsody.
Disney closed its acquisition of 21st Century Fox's filmed-entertainment assets on 20 March 2019.
She left the chair that spring.
On 1 October 2019 she co-founded the production company Sister with Elisabeth Murdoch and Jane Featherstone and served as global CEO until 2023.
The Pico lot remained with Fox Corporation after the Disney sale.
Disney's 20th Century Studios offices later left the lot for Burbank.
The gate is still there.
