The Intel years hide a nine-year stretch in San Jose.
On 21 February 2006 eBay said Swan would become senior vice president, finance, and chief financial officer, effective 16 March.
He would be based at headquarters in San Jose and report to Meg Whitman.
He replaced Rajiv Dutta, who moved to run Skype.
The 8-K lists the principal office then as 2145 Hamilton Avenue.
The campus later concentrated at 2025 East Hamilton Avenue, the building photographed here in 2018.
eBay's release said he came from Electronic Data Systems, where he had been CFO.
He stayed until July 2015. Intel's June 2018 8-K dates the eBay tenure from March 2006 to July 2015.
Whitman hired a finance operator who had already closed a grocery company.
