Biography | Carla Jeffery — The Burbank Lot Where Zombies First Screened

The first Seabrook film did not have its Los Angeles screening in a Hollywood palace.

It had it behind the gate on Buena Vista Street.

On Saturday 3 February 2018, Disney Channel brought the cast of Zombies onto the Walt Disney Studio Lot at 500 South Buena Vista Street in Burbank.

Getty and FanSided both place the event on that lot.

Shine On Media named Carla Jeffery among the players who screened the film there with families, many of them seeing the finished cut for the first time.

She was billed as Bree, Addison's friend on the Seabrook cheer team.

The television premiere was still thirteen days away, on 16 February 2018.

This was the public night that sat between a Toronto shoot and a cable debut.

The lot is not a walk-in museum.

A visitor on Buena Vista sees the gate, the Team Disney building, and a working studio that stays closed to anyone without a pass.

Jeffery had been on a talent roster since she was twelve.

Phat Girlz in 2006 and a run as Keysha Black on Curb Your Enthusiasm had already put her on screen.

Bree was the part that stuck.

She came back for two sequels, voiced the same cheerleader on the animated series, and kept walking Disney carpets after the third film.

Jeffery died on 1 September 2026, at thirty-three.

Her agency confirmed the date and did not publish a place or a cause.
