Something in the Rain|Jeongdong-gil — The Stone Wall That Holds the Rain

Jeongdong-gil does not look like a set. It looks like a palace wall that learned how to keep pedestrians.

The path runs beside Deoksugung, a few hundred meters of stone, plane trees, and the old foreign quarter. Something in the Rain used it for the walks that made the series feel wet even when the plot was dry. An umbrella here is not a prop. It is the only roof the street offers between City Hall Station and Jeongdong Theater.

Goblin already taught pilgrims this wall. Jin-ah and Jun-hee borrowed it for a different register: not immortality, just two office workers who cannot quite go home yet. The ginkgo litter in autumn is the same litter every other Seoul romance has used. The difference is the pace. Ahn Pan-seok kept the camera on their shoulders long enough that the wall became a third person.

Walk it on a gray afternoon. The stones stay darker longer than the pavement. That is the color the drama was after.
