第13話。新菜と海夢は新宿御苑前駅の2番出口から地上へ出て、コスプレ撮影のスタジオへ向かう。第1期で衣装を一着完成させたふたりにとって、第2期の始まりは大事件ではなく、次の撮影へ並んで歩き出すことだった。地下から明るい通りへ上がる短い階段が、ふたりの世界がまだ広がっていくことを静かに示す。
現地の2番出口は新宿通り沿いにあり、赤い丸ノ内線のサインと細い階段の配置が画面の手がかりになる。駅利用者の流れが絶えないため、構図を合わせるなら入口正面に立ち止まらず、歩道の端から短時間で確認したい。撮影スタジオへ急ぐふたりと同じように、ここでは「到着」よりも、次の場所へ向かう動きそのものが記憶に残る。
