第1話の放課後、麻衣と咲太は藤沢駅で江ノ電を降り、南北自由通路のコインロッカーへ向かう。麻衣は図書館で着ていたバニーガールの衣装を回収する。その動作は驚くほど事務的だ。誰にも認識されない恐怖を抱えたまま、彼女は人波の真ん中で鍵を回し、異常を小さな荷物へ畳んで日常へ戻ろうとする。
現実の藤沢駅では、JR、小田急、江ノ電の乗客が通路で交差し、改札の電子音と案内放送が途切れない。人が多いほど孤独が濃くなる場面に、この駅はよく似合う。自由通路を歩くときは、ロッカーそのものより、誰も立ち止まらず通り過ぎていく流れを見るといい。咲太が麻衣を見失わなかったことの重さは、その流れの速さでわかる。
