On September 19, 2021, inside Heidelberg Castle, Norway’s Ørjan “TheViper” Larsen of GamerLegion and Austria’s Kai “Liereyy” Kallinger of Aftermath sat down for the Red Bull Wololo V: Enthrone Grand Final, the last match of a week-long offline main event. Red Bull organized the third-party tournament, while the official Age of Empires site promoted its open qualification and later recorded the result; an independent event record places the September 13–19 competition at the castle rather than at an organizer office or an advertised city without a disclosed stage. They played the Windows PC edition of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, not the 1999 release or HD Edition, and the public client window was Update 51737, issued August 10, before Update 54480 arrived on October 5; no private tournament build or storefront is publicly documented, so none is assigned here. The final used the custom Empire Wars mode, which begins in the Feudal Age with a working economy already established, removing much of the conventional opening buildup and making early scouting, military production, and control of exposed resources matter immediately. The 4–3 result gave TheViper his first Red Bull Wololo championship after Liereyy had won two earlier editions, a distinction the publisher’s 2022 retrospective preserved by naming both players and their legal names. The castle therefore anchors more than a decorative medieval broadcast theme: it was the verified LAN venue where the seven game scores were produced, and it now connects this 2021 final with the distinct TaToH–Liereyy Wololo: Legacy final held there in 2022.
