Crash Landing on You | Grindelwald First — Reunion Above the Valley

First is a shoulder of mountain at 2,167 metres, reached by gondola from Grindelwald. The station dumps you onto a platform that faces the Eiger. Wind arrives without warning. Paragliders peel off the slope the way they have for decades.

This is where Se-ri and Jeong-hyeok find each other again after the peninsula has done its worst. Crash Landing on You used the First Flyer line and the open air above the valley for the reunion the last episodes had been holding. The ticket is not cheap. The view does not negotiate.

You can walk from the station toward Bachalpsee and never see a camera mark. What you see is the same wall of rock that sat behind their meeting. On a clear day the Jungfrau group is a fact, not a backdrop.

Take the first gondola if you can. The platform is quieter before the Flyer queue forms, and the valley still holds last night's cold.
