People treat the Warwick degree as a youth credential she collected before work.

The order was the other way around.

Rover sponsored her through the executive MBA at Warwick Business School while she was already on the payroll.

She sat the course from 1988 to 1992, in evening classes, sometimes flying into Birmingham and driving to campus after a day on the continent.

The Financial Times recorded that commute in 2016. A later Citroën curriculum and a Business Times profile give the same span: 1988 to 1992.

Warwick Business School stands on Scarman Road, on the University of Warwick campus at Coventry, postcode CV4 7AL.

The school itself dates from 1967. The white blocks a visitor photographs today are later fabric on the same campus, not the exact classroom she entered in 1988.

The degree is the documented fact. The building is the public door to that campus.

By the time she finished she was in her early thirties, still inside Rover, and already being moved through finance and sales jobs that would take her to France.

The MBA did not invent the career. It certified a career that had started at a plant gate.
