In December 2016 BlackRock signed on as the anchor tenant of 50 Hudson Yards.
The New York Post reported the letter of intent that month: about 850,000 square feet in a Foster + Partners tower at Tenth Avenue between 33rd and 34th Streets.
The firm was then split between Park Avenue Plaza at 55 East 52nd Street and 40 East 52nd Street.
Related Companies and Oxford Properties were the developers.
The tower opened in October 2022.
BlackRock's Midtown leases ran into 2023.
Engineering firm Syska Hennessy, which worked on the fit-out, dates the headquarters completion to 2023.

This is a public commercial tower, not a private house.
Fink's current home is not the subject and is not mapped here.
What changed is the address on the letterhead of the world's largest asset manager.
By the time the firm sat down in these floors it was no longer the eight-person bond shop of 1988.
