Biography|Anders Danielsson — The First Morning as Group CEO on Warfvinges väg

On 7 December 2017 the Skanska board named Anders Danielsson president and chief executive of Skanska AB.

He would succeed Johan Karlström on 1 January 2018.

The announcement came from a company that had already moved its head office.

Entré Lindhagen at Warfvinges väg 25, on western Kungsholmen, had opened to Skanska and Nordea at the turn of 2013–14 as a LEED Platinum office Skanska developed on its own land.

Danielsson had been with the firm since 1991.

He arrived at the top job from the U.S. presidency and from earlier turns as president of Skanska Sweden and Skanska Norway.

Karlström stayed on as a senior adviser until January 2019.

The new chief executive inherited a group whose shares had fallen that year and whose American projects had forced writedowns.

The pin is the public entrance on Warfvinges väg, not a private floor plan.

As of 2026 the published visiting address is still that building, though Skanska has since announced a later move into the Olivin block nearby.
