Sweet Home|Uam Historic Park — The Confucian Grove the Later Seasons Drove Through

Seasons two and three left the sealed apartment and took the outbreak into Daejeon. Travel + Leisure Asia, working from the city's own location notes, lists Uam Historic Park among the outdoor frames shot between January and March 2023. The park sits at 53 Chungjeong-ro in Dong-gu, at the foot of a low hill in Gayang-dong. It is not a monster set. It is a reconstruction of the grounds where the Joseon scholar Song Si-yeol taught, opened as a free public park in 1998.

Sixteen rebuilt halls, a relics museum, and Namganjeongsa, the late-seventeenth-century villa that actually survived. Gate hours run from dawn to evening. No ticket. The camera used the tiled roofs and the tree line as a city that still had a past while the streets beyond the wall were being rewritten as ruins.

Walk in from Chungjeong-ro. The first impression is quiet wood and gravel. That quiet is why the later seasons needed it. After ten episodes of concrete corridors, the production required a public landscape that still looked like Korea when the plot moved the survivors out of Green Home and into the open.
