薫る花は凛と咲く | 松本深志高等学校 — One Building, Two Imagined Worlds

Before Rintaro and Kaoruko exchange more than a few careful words, their schools have already defined the distance between them. Chidori and Kikyo stand side by side in the story, close enough to see and divided enough to feel unreachable. For the anime, the production team visited Matsumoto Fukashi High School and used its historic campus atmosphere as a model for that world. The long façade, repeated windows, and weight of an old school building make the invented rivalry feel older than any of the students living inside it.

View the school only from the public street and respect the working campus. From there, the lesson is visible without crossing a gate: a wall can look permanent until two people decide to speak across it.
