小田急小田原線の生田駅は、相対式2面2線の地上駅で、二つのホームを橋上駅舎が結ぶ。小田急電鉄の[公式案内](https://www.odakyu.jp/station/ikuta/)は所在地を川崎市多摩区生田7-8-4とし、上りは新宿・千代田線方面、下りは小田原・片瀬江ノ島方面へ向かう。
『N・H・Kにようこそ！』では、生田周辺が佐藤達広の暮らす町の舞台になっている。[AniTabiの地点記録](https://anitabi.jp/spots/3399?lang=en)は、生田駅をその町の最寄り駅とし、通勤や移動の場面に繰り返し登場すると整理する。部屋に閉じこもる佐藤にとって、ここは日常の外側へつながる具体的な境界だ。作品自体は2006年7月9日に放送を開始したことを[Bangumiの番組記録](https://bgm.tv/subject/995)で確認した。
現地では、二本の線路を挟んで向かい合うホームと、頭上を横切る橋上駅舎に注目したい。写真は2013年に撮影された駅ホームの現況資料であり、アニメ画面や同一のカメラ位置を示すものではない。
