僕等がいた | 幣舞橋 — 四季の像が夕暮れを見送る

幣舞橋の欄干には、春・夏・秋・冬を表す四体のブロンズ像が立ち、釧路川の河口と港の空を見渡している。現在の橋は1976年に完成した5代目。市民の寄付で「四季の像」が置かれ、日本で初めて橋上に彫刻を備えた橋として知られる。
『僕等がいた』は北海道・釧路を舞台にした2006年のTVアニメで、AniTabiは幣舞橋をオープニングと第3話・第6話に登場する地点として記録している。一度きりの背景ではなく、同じ街で時間が流れ続ける感覚を作品へ刻む風景だ。地点資料の住所は北海道釧路市北大通1丁目で、この記憶のピンは橋の中央に置いた。
日付は公式サイトの放送案内が示す「2006年7月スタート」に合わせ、2006年7月までの精度で記録した。掲載写真は現在の幣舞橋を写した現地資料で、アニメ画面や同一カメラ位置ではない。橋を歩くときは四季の像を順に確かめてから西側の空へ目を移したい。夕暮れには、街灯と車の光が長い橋の輪郭を川面へ描き始める。
