Biography|Arne Freundt — The Jahnallee House That Closed the German Diplom

People fold HHL into one line on a resume.

This block of Jahnallee is where that line was earned.

HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management occupies University House at Jahnallee 59, across from the Sportforum tram stop.

Munzinger records that Freundt finished his Betriebswirtschaftslehre here after the EBS years on the Rhine.

The thesis, later noted by Runner's World, treated marketing from a neuroscientific angle.

He then walked into Siemens Management Consulting in Munich in March 2005.

That date is the best public bracket for the Leipzig close: the diploma had to be in hand before the consulting desk.

HHL is a private school founded in 1898, re-established after 1990, and still authorized to grant doctoral degrees.

The historic Handelshochschule pile on Ritterstraße is now Leipzig University's Geschwister-Scholl-Haus.

The working campus he used is this Jahnallee house, not the 1910 monument downtown.

A visitor standing at number 59 is standing where the last German exam sat, not where the school's nineteenth-century plaque hangs.

From here the path is no longer academic.

Munich hired the graduate.

Herzogenaurach hired the consultant.
