The Vattenfall years look continuous until they are not.

In 2015 Anna Borg left the state utility for Klarna.

Vattenfall's official executive biography lists the post as Senior Vice President, Nordic Klarna, from 2015 to 2017.

The company's history page repeats the same two-year interval.

Klarna Bank AB, the Swedish banking entity, lists its headquarters at Sveavägen 46 in Stockholm.

Company registers keep that street number on the file.

The building is a public commercial address, not a private residence.

Klarna in those years was already a payments firm with a buy-now-pay-later book, expanding in the United States.

The Nordic job was a line job inside that firm, not a founder seat.

She returned to Vattenfall in 2017, first as Senior Vice President for Business Area Markets, then as group chief financial officer later the same year.

The official biography is careful about the double employment line: Vattenfall employee since 2017 and 1999 to 2015.

The Klarna years sit in the gap.

What the gap did is visible only in the later appointment.

When the board named her president and chief executive on 10 September 2020, the press release listed the Klarna title beside the Vattenfall sales and markets titles.

The pin is the registered Stockholm door of the payments firm, not a home.

Sveavägen at number 46 is a working street in Norrmalm.

A visitor finds a bank office, not a museum.
