The Namsan pedestrian overpass at Namchang-dong hangs above the traffic that feeds Sungnyemun. Seoullo 7017 takes over a few steps later. From the deck you see the gate, the market roofs, and the mountain if the air is clean.
The drama puts the boys on this crossing because a time-slip story needs a bridge that is also a street. Nobody owns the view. Commuters use it. So did the cameras.
Stand in the middle and the city sound rises from both ends. The overpass does not care which year you came from. It only asks that you keep walking.
