The K2|Banpo Hangang Park — The Fountain Under the Bodyguard's River

The Han does not hold still for a bodyguard. At Banpo it throws colored water off a bridge and keeps moving.

Banpo Hangang Park sits at 40 Sinbanpo-ro 11-gil in Seocho-gu, on the south bank between Hannam and Dongjak. Banpo Bridge crosses above Jamsu Bridge. Since 2009 the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain has run off both sides of the upper deck, 1,140 meters of nozzles that Seoul registered as the world's longest bridge fountain. VisitKorea and the city Hangang office list the park as a public riverside with the fountain running on a posted schedule from April to October.

The K2 used this stretch of river as a Seoul night exterior. Je-ha's work is escort and extraction. The park is the opposite of a closed compound. It is grass, bike path, convenience-store ramyeon on a mat, and a fountain that starts whether you arrived for a drama or for the water.

Stand on the south bank when the pumps fire. The city lights sit on the north shore. The bridge is ordinary concrete until the color hits it. That is the frame the cameras took home.
