Meteor Garden | University Square Fountain — Graduation Light

The fountain sits in the open plaza in front of the library and administration buildings. Water rises and falls in steady arcs while the surrounding space stays wide and uncluttered.

In Meteor Garden this was the stage for graduation scenes and the large group moments that closed chapters of the story. The real fountain still performs its simple job. Students cross the plaza, pause for photos, or sit on the low walls. The geometry of the space has not changed much since 2001.

Stand at the edge and the campus opens around you. The library rises on one side, the administration building on another. The drama used that openness without decoration. It let the characters occupy a place that already felt public and slightly ceremonial.

The water keeps moving. The plaza keeps its quiet scale. The sense that something once important happened here in plain daylight remains available to anyone who stops long enough to notice the layout.
