Meteor Garden | Tranquility Lake — The Shore Where F4 Held Court

The water lies still under the arched bridge. Palm fronds and low shrubs frame the edge of Tranquility Lake, the place everyone on campus simply calls the heart of National Chung Cheng University.

In 2001 this ordinary university lake became the unofficial throne room of Ying De Academy. The F4 lounged here between classes. Shan Cai crossed the path with her stubborn chin up. The wide stairs of the Student Activity Center rose just behind the water, the same steps where confrontations flared and quiet glances were stolen.

Stand on the stone path today and the scene still feels staged for drama. The bridge cuts a clean arc. The lake reflects the sky without effort. Students walk past with backpacks; wedding couples pose for photos under the same trees that once framed the richest boys in Taiwanese television history.

Nothing here tries too hard. The lake simply holds the light. That is what the drama understood and amplified. When you leave, the image that stays is not a red card or a dramatic kiss. It is the quiet water and the certainty that ordinary places can become unforgettable once a story decides they matter.
