Biography|Marc Houalla — The Orly Post That Began on 15 October 2017

People treat the move from a grande école to a Paris airport as a slow handover.

Groupe ADP fixed the start date in a press release: 15 October 2017.

On 1 August 2017 Augustin de Romanet announced that Marc Houalla would become director of Paris-Orly and join the group's executive committee on that October day.

He was fifty-six.

ENAC alumni noted the same week that he was leaving nine years at the Toulouse school for an airport then handling about thirty-two million passengers a year.

The official ADP biography published with the appointment restates the two ENAC diplomas, 1985 and 1991, and the HEC MBA.

It also restates the Ottawa start in 1985 and the Marseille airport years.

The Orly posting itself was short.

On 12 February 2018, from Tremblay-en-France, the same group named him executive director and managing director of Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Aerobuzz called the Orly season a passage éclair — a flash posting between the school and the larger hub.

The photograph is the public access to Orly Sud, shot in December 2017, during the months he held the Orly title.

The terminal names have since been reshuffled — West and South became numbered halls — but the field is the same one named in the August 2017 release.

He left Charles de Gaulle in September 2022.
