Sungkyunkwan Scandal|Korean Folk Village — Relocated Houses That Played a Joseon Street

Yongin's Korean Folk Village opened in 1974 by moving real late-Joseon houses onto a hillside in Giheung. Creatrip's filming-location guide names Sungkyunkwan Scandal among the dramas that used those roofs.

The park is not a single room. It is a reconstructed village: farmhouses, a market street, a stream, seasonal rites, the kind of ordinary Joseon fabric a campus romance still has to walk through when the scholars leave the lecture hall. The address is 90 Minsokchon-ro. The gate takes a ticket. The houses behind it are the ones the cameras could dress without asking a living Confucian academy for permission.

After Jeonju Hyanggyo, this is the other public place where the drama's streets still stand. Rent a hanbok if you want the still. Or just take the creek path and let the tile and thatch do the work the set designers hired them for.
