Goblin | Deoksugung Stone Wall Path — The Walk That Outlasted Nine Hundred Years

The wall is older than the drama by a few centuries. Granite blocks, a tiled cap, ginkgo and zelkova that dump their colour on the pavement every October. Office workers use it as a shortcut between City Hall and Jeongdong. Couples use it because the cameras did.

Guardian: The Lonely and Great God put Kim Shin and Ji Eun-tak on this 1.1-kilometre stretch beside Deoksugung Palace and let them talk the way people talk when they have more time than the city around them. The Seoul Metropolitan Government still lists the walk as Deoksugung Doldam-gil, 99 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu. The palace side stays closed after dusk. The street side does not.

Start at the City Hall corner and keep the wall on your right. Do not hunt for a mark the production left. There is none that matters. The bricks do the work. Nine hundred years of a goblin is a story. A stone wall that still takes a commute is the thing you can stand beside tomorrow morning.
