160 Rio Robles in North San Jose was the headquarters of Maxim Integrated while Matthew J. Murphy worked there.
Marvell's 20 June 2016 Form 8-K and the accompanying press release said he had spent the previous twenty-two years at Maxim.
The last title on that filing was Executive Vice President, Business Units, Sales and Marketing, from May 2015 until June 2016.
Before that he had been a senior vice president from September 2011.
Company pages later summarized the stretch as sales, communications, automotive and then the whole product-and-go-to-market stack.
Maxim itself was founded in 1983 and kept this San Jose address as headquarters until Analog Devices closed the acquisition in August 2021.
The building is still standing.
County inspection records in 2025 and 2026 list Analog Devices at the same 160 Rio Robles number.
A visitor today is not walking into Maxim's lobby.
They are standing at the last public address of the analog house that trained the man Marvell hired.
The start year is 1994, the year of the Franklin and Marshall degree.
The end is the June 2016 announcement that he would take Marvell on 11 July.
