It is a small trick and a common one: a corner unit with wide plate glass on a photogenic street will play any shop you like for a day. The florist's counter was built for the scene and struck when the scene was done. RadioShack held the lease in 2003; the chain's American stores collapsed a decade later and the sign is long gone. The frontage has not moved. Same brick pier, same entrance cut at forty-five degrees to the corner, same view back across Glassell to the plaza. Visitors walk past it because there is no plaque and no reason to look twice. That is precisely the reason to stop — this is what most filming locations really are, an ordinary lease dressed for one morning and handed back.
