Kanon and Keke step onto the Yoyogi Park outdoor stage carrying a first song and more fear than either wants to show. In episode 3, the audience is slow to answer them. Keke freezes. Then Kanon takes her hand, the lights rise, and “Tiny Stars” becomes the moment two uncertain voices finally sound like the beginning of a group.

In daylight, the real stage is almost disarmingly plain: a concrete shell, a broad apron, and open parkland where the anime placed a field of colored light. That plainness is the point. The series did not need a grand arena for its first breakthrough; it needed a place large enough for one friend to steady another.

Stand at the edge of the empty performance area and look back toward the seats. The stage feels smaller than the scene, and that difference is where the memory lives—the distance two girls crossed simply by refusing to let go of each other’s hand.
