Meteor Garden | PS Bubu Café — The Beetle Booth Date

The restaurant still seats people inside cut-up vintage cars. A pink Volkswagen Beetle booth remains one of the most requested tables.

In Meteor Garden this was the setting for an early date between Shan Cai and Dao Ming Si. The real place never stopped being a car-themed diner. The metal, the license plates, the slightly theatrical booths have stayed in place for more than twenty years. Fans still reserve the same seats the drama used.

Walk in and the theme is immediate. The drama did not invent the atmosphere; it simply borrowed a place that already felt like a set. That is why the location continues to work. The cars are still there. The feeling of sitting inside a prop that once held a fictional conversation is still available.

The restaurant remains open and welcoming to visitors who come for the memory as much as the meal.
