Itaewon Class | Noksapyeong Overbridge — The View Sae-ro-yi Wanted

Two people stand on a pedestrian overbridge with Namsan and the N Seoul Tower behind them, and one of them says something that changes the direction of the story. Park Sae-ro-yi and Jo Yi-seo come back to this bridge repeatedly, and it is the single most recognisable frame in the series.

The Noksapyeong overbridge crosses Noksapyeong-daero just outside Exit 3 of Noksapyeong Station on Line 6. From the deck you get the tower dead ahead, Haebangchon stacked up the hillside to the left, and eight lanes of traffic running underneath — a view that is entirely free, rarely crowded, and best about half an hour before sunset when the tower lights come on against a sky that still has colour in it.

The hill lane beside the bridge is where most of the drama's alley walking was shot. It was chosen because it is quiet: the production wanted Itaewon's texture without the crowds of the main strip. DanBam's exterior was a bar on that corner. It closed after filming and was remodelled as Seoul Bam, with the new owner saying he intended to keep the sign traces and the murals; whether any of that survives six years on, nobody has documented, so treat it as unverified and do not build a trip around it.

Stand at the middle of the span facing the tower. Sae-ro-yi's whole argument is that a person with nothing can look at a skyline and decide to take a piece of it — and this is the exact spot from which the show let him look.
